OUR ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOLIDARITY ACTIONS
ESTABLISHMENT OF A CIRCULAR ECONOMY
We ensure that our wetsuits are made from recycled materials, such as the recycled tyres we repurpose for our neoprene and recycled plastic bottles that become our fabrics. More than just offering an eco-friendly product, Wildsuits has a real desire to have a positive impact on the entire ecosystem that is affected by the brand. This is why, over time, we have implemented a circular economy system, that is under constant review.
RECYCLED CARDBOARD AND DELIVERY
Every week, we go through the city centre of Nantes to collect the cardboard boxes from the shops in order to reuse them to send our parcels, whether for our partner shops or for deliveries to individuals.

Partnership with Flahica
Reusing, repurposing and recycling materials is the essence of Flahica. Flahica is a small company based in Peniche, Portugal, who we share our offcuts and unused neoprene and fabrics with. They transform these materials into handmade board bags, fin protector sleeves and other ocean related items. Partnership with surfeurs solidaires
Surfeurs Solidaires is a French charity based in Bayonne, established in 2001. Their mission is to aid local people in Madagascar, Sierra Leon, Jamaica, the Philippines, Cape Verde, Morocco and Nicaragua. They raise awareness of coastal protection and respect for the environment in these countries, whilst also distributing surf gear to the local communities.
By collecting used surf equipment, Surfeurs Solidaires are able to dispatch substantial material aid. Over the past 15 years, Surfers Solidaires have built numerous surf clubs and associations in the countries they work with. They also provide significant pedagogical assistance to the existing local surf clubs and associations.
These concepts of sharing and solidarity are also very important to Wildsuits. In order to help the surf community as much as possible we have made the decision to supply Surfers Solidaires with our official team rider's prototypes and used wetsuits. Surfers Solidaires not only distribute and share surf kit - they offer the joy of surfing to those who had previously only dreamed of it. Why not join us in supporting Surfers Solidaires by checking out the events on their Facebook page or finding your local Surfers Solidaires deposit depot?
This program would not be complete without environmental awareness. Wildsuits and all it’s members are aware of the impact and repercussions of our actions. That is why we organise awareness events:
- In schools, to raise awareness among the future generation
- Via our social networks
- Beach cleans with the help of the association AMATAYE

USE OF CLEANER SERVERS
For our website, we were looking for cleaner and greener servers,, as web hosting and data centres are extremely polluting. Therefore, we wanted to minimise our impact in this area as well. So, we found a new French hosting provider: O2Switch. O2Switch offers a green approach, for example, by only offering optimised equipment and using air conditioning conscientiously in order to limit energy expenditure.
